Lolly Posh ... a Sweet Boutique for "A-List" Babies and Kids
In September of 2011 we launched our online babies and kids clothing store, Lolly Posh.
It's still in it's infancy, as in just born ... but we're ready to rock!
It's still in it's infancy, as in just born ... but we're ready to rock!
How did we get from here to there?
The idea came about when literally ALL the moms of the kids we photographed fell in love with the clothing we provided for some of the model sessions. Sometimes the little ones just didn't want to take them off ... especially the girls! The moms asked us if we would sell the outfits to them ... and the idea was born.
So our sister-company was born! It's a girl! A Lolly Posh girl!
We decided to begin very small by selling the clothes online and on FaceBook using an auction. Since the moms loved, loved, LOVED the Mud Pie brand clothing that we had been purchasing for our model photoshoots, we decided to feature that brand for our first auction. We literally scraped together our investment money (looked in every single purse we owned for extra change) to place our first order with the manufacturer. We designed our new Lolly Posh website andLolly Posh Facebook pages ourselves and then crossed our fingers (and our toes) and said a prayer to God and the patron saint of new business ventures (there is one, right?), asking for blessings upon our new business.
That's our Lolly Posh story ... please visit our Lolly Posh website for more info on how the Facebook auctions work and please like our page!
